This dress is not as supple as leather (though cheap leather can be pretty stiff -- almost cardboard-like), but also it's not as stiff as plastic or real stiff PVC. Sort of like the plush (thicker) polyurethane (PU) used for some wetlook fashions: flexible but with a bit of thickness.
