What is your favorite toy material (And why?)

I like 100% silicone. Although, I think glass is great also. I just try to keep all my material safety at 8 or above.

Glass provides a unique feeling that works great with lubricants. With other materials, lubricant seems to rub off quickly and makes me sore. I've found that my body responds well to glass. They are also easy to clean and are hypo-allergenic. What more can you ask for?

It's definitely silicone for me. It has a 10 safety rating and that's the most important factor for me when choosing a toy. I'd rather buy more and not run the risk of becoming ill (and not explain to my doctor how I got to be that way, haha).

I think my favorite material is silicone, but I also enjoy glass greatly. Although silicone can be pricey, it's totally worth the money because of its ease of cleaning, sharing, and ability to be firm without being hard. I love glass for its ability to maintain temperature and because its price point is so versatile. My top two, for sure.

I love my silicone (especially VixSkin) toys. It is the give and flexibility that I enjoy.

But I also love the firm materials (such as wood, ceramic, glass, and metal). Aside from the wood, all of those materials retain temperature well. The firmness of these materials provides a pleasurable sensation. And each of the hard materials feels unique. I couldn't pick just one material.

I'd also love to try stone.

All of these materials rate very highly in body-safety. I wouldn't consider a material with a less-than-7 rating.

For now, I prefer the skinlike ones cause they feel realistic and they dont have any nasty odour.

So far, my wifes favorite is still cyberskin. Just received another new silicone that is comparable to her fav. Will sneak it in our bedroom, and see how she responds....

I like the look of glass, and is easy to clean and maintain. I hope to get a glass toy of my own very soon.

Silicone. I'm dying to try a dual-density toy but haven't had the chance yet I'm convinced that once I do give it a go, I'll never want anything else, they look so lovely and have a great in-hand squish factor

Silicone baby! I'm a convert and I don't think I can ever go back. Ok, well for other completely safe materials we'll talk but silicone is where it's at. So glad to see no one picked rubber.

They're coming up with some nice squishy silicones now, so you can have the feel without the risks.

Cold hard Stainless is my first choice then glass and Silicone for dildo's and vibes. For strokers I like Superskin (Fleshlights) and Pure skin even though they can be high maintenance, they just feel so good. I would love to see some strokers made from VixSkin or other similar soft Silicone.

I wish I could re vote. It has changed for me so much- I still love my TPR silicone but I am in love with glass now.

I change my mind regularly, but between three favored materials -- metal, glass, and silicone. I'll tolerate TPR or plastic if a toy is unique or useful enough, but 90% of my collection is metal, glass, or silicone.

Silicone, Plastic, and Jelly. Silicone because of the cleanliness and versatility, plastic because I'm comfortable with it, and jelly because I love soft toys.
