The other day I had a patient that was extremely allergic to latex, i mean EXTREMELY. Just the scent of latex cause cause a sever reaction. She told us about how everything has latex in it. Only certain places she can buy bras/panties. Apparently pads even have some latex in them. Bananas mimic latex allergies too. Her school and near by hospitals have gone to latex free because of her.
