What is metajell? It feels totally different from jelly. I got a new toy today that the package says is metajell. A few weeks ago I had a toy I thought was mystery material that was labeled as jelly on here, but the texture, scent and appearance are identical to the new metajell one I got today.

It's a regular PVC mixed with metallic paint which gives metallic shine and smoother surface.

Ok, thank you. Does it also make it much harder than jelly? What about safety concerns since it is mixed with paint?

All jelly has some coloring agent, which can leak. The jelly also can be made harder or softer by adding softeners. This one was made harder in order to implement heart pattern. As with all PVC products I wouldn't recommend using this toy without a condom.
