Right now I like them both equally, but I may end up preferring one over the other in the future.

I will always chose Stainless first. The problem is there are not as many stainless toys as glass. So, consequently I have more glass than stainless.

Stainless hold temp's for longer and will not break. I can also fix pretty much anything that happens to it.

I like both pretty equally. However, if given a choice, I *usually* will take glass. Stainless steel, even at room temperature, ends up being really cold straight out of the box which is annoying for me. Glass usually stays pretty close to room temperature which means I can just reach and use where with stainless steel, I have to warm it up first.

Aside from the temperature issue though, they both feel about the same (aside from weight). Both are some of my favorite materials.

They're both excellent. There's more variety in glass, but stainless steel has that satisfying weight to it. So, it depends, really.

They're both the same temperature. Metal conducts head better and has a higher thermal intertia, so it just feels colder.

I have both and like both. It's surprising that you can feel the difference, but you can.

i voted for glass, only because i have not ordered any steel toys yet. alittle too expensive for me at the moment. but they are on my wish list. I have heard nothing but good things about them. if they are anything like glass, we wont stop at just one steel toy in the drawer.

I haven't tried either (shame on me) but have my first glass toy assignment on the way

I have had a metal toy in the past, but have never tried glass, as much as I want to try it, I will still take steel over it any day.

Why?

I haven't tried either, but am probably going to get a glass dildo of some kind. Simply because it's more economical, and I don't know if I like the really hard toys yet.

Stainless steel just seems cooler.

I like stainless for the temperature aspects. Like glass, it's nice and cool at first but I also enjoy how it seems to get warmer than glass, feeling almost hotter than body temperature after using it a bit. Lovely.

I have more glass than steel. However, I do prefer steel. I like the weight when I wear a plug long term. Each step gives you a little reminder that it's there even if it isn't a big toy. Glass plugs usually have too large of a base unless it's a T-handle type. And as others have mentioned, the steel won't break.

I would vote for glass but I have tried only glass so far. I hope to try steel one day. Especially the pure wand...

Glass, I've not had the chance to try steel, but I'd love to at some point.

The idea of stainless steel bothers me for some weird reason... I think that's why I just prefer glass

We prefer stainless because it retains heat better and longer than glass. We love the weightiness of steel and it seems to be easier to insert with less drag on the skin.

I'm so glad you didn't MAKE me choose one. I love them both. I think I just prefer firmer toys for certain things. Though I do love my Vixen Creations Leo....it's not firm...but it has other positive features

I like them both equally. Metal is a bit better for temperature play as metal takes a bit longer to heat up to body temperature but glass has a lovely slippery quality that I adore.

I have one metal toy and a few glass toys. I prefer glass. Although, I do have Olga by LELO on my wishlist and really want to own it one day.

I don't care for glass, and am looking into my first metal toy. But I'm sure I'll have to like it more than the glass.
