Wood, Steel, or Glass?

I honestly don't think you can make a bad purchase when getting a toy from NobEssence---at least not in my experience so far. I'd like to have one of every single style they make. You know, just for scientific "research" to see if any of their ergonomic designs are a miss. I figure it might be a tough job, but somebody has to do it!

If you get one, you'll have to let me know what you think!

I've only tried glass but I'm dying to try some wood toys.

I do love my Purpleheart though and would also like one in Cocobolo.
Ooh, yes. I want at least one of their toys in Purpleheart, and one in Cocobolo. The woods they use are just all so beautiful!

Steel! It will out last my life and become an heirloom. Unless you put it in a forge it will out last wood or glass. Plus if you do scratch it, you can fix it and still use it. Can the same be said for glass or wood?

Be sides, something about a highly polished stainless is just gorgeous and highly erotic.

Of those three I'd say glass but I'm not a huge fan of it either

I haven't tried wood or steel.. so I'd say glass. lol. But, I wouldn't mind trying the other two. Steel seems ok.. but wood.. I dunno.. makes me think I'd get a splinter in a very uncomfy spot..

I haven't tried steel or wood yet, but I like glass very much. Seems like glass has the greatest variety out of these options, too - so many awesome shapes and pretty designs! I just ordered an Icicles No. 8, and I'm bouncing in my seat with impatience! "Gah, why can't my toys just be e-mailed to me?!"

This is SO hard to answer. All three FEEL different and all THREE make GREAT toys. Wood is warm and has an amazing "feel". Steel is cold and SMOOTH and just has a unique feel with ZERO friction going in and out, but a "presence" from weight and size. Glass is SLICK and warms quickly, and the body "grabs" it most. Each have their own charms and I love them all. I love my polymer plastics too, however. I LOVE my GELS.

Wow, I hadn't even thought about using a steel toy. We have glass, but no wood yet.

I think glass is amazing. I only have two dildos, but I plan on getting more. I don't have anything against wood or steel, but nothing of those kind have peaked my interest.

Steel. To be honest I'm a little afraid of both wood and glass, because splinters and cracks don't sound great. At lest with metal if you get a ding you can buff it out.

I just recently tried a wood toy for the first time and LOVE IT. I really love steel, but am not into how cold it gets at winter air temperature. And honestly I'm often too lazy to try and warm it up if all I want to to is give my G-spot area a good massaging I really love this wooden toy, because it's about as hard as steel but has a warmer temperature in cool air.

Glass.... glass was my first hard material for dildos... and honestly I'm just effing spoiled when it comes to glass. I used to be a big admirer of the glass blowing that goes on in my west coast city. I'd go to the head shop every once in a while just to look at the incredible creations. And honestly I don't find that the glass dildo industry keeps up with that kind of artistic creation AT ALL. Maybe I'm not looking at the right companies.... It just seems ludicrous to me that so many people love glass dildos it seems but artistically they aren't up to par IMO. When you're buying paraphernalia, even cheaper pieces can sometimes be really beautiful in construction. I would appreciate any suggestions for truly artistic glass dildos, because I haven't seen any that have really impressed me. (end rant)

I have not tried wood or steel (want to try steel, too scared of wood) but I like glass a lot. It's a tie between glass and silicone for my favorite material-it just depends on my mood.

Check out nob essence! They're sterilizable and 100% splinter free. Plus they feel really good. I just got my first one recently.
