Not sure what to get - Liberator Throe or G-Force

Contributor: ScottA ScottA
I have my Valentine's coupon all ready to go, but I'm not sure what to get. It's between two (really three) things: A Liberator Throe or a Tantus G-Force.

First of all, the Liberator Throes. How does the Shag, Safari and Posh throe compare (other than the slightly larger size of the Shag)? I'm also wondering about long-term durability. There are few follow-up reviews, most of which are about 1 month after the original - and one of them notes that the blanket started to fall apart. How do these look after a couple of years of regular use?

Should I get one or get the less expensive option that was in a discussion here a while ago (some sort of hospital waterproof blanket that was about $10-$15).

I know the G-Force is highly thought of. I'm interested in something that can be inserted a long ways to try to go for an anal orgasm (anal, not prostate or anally-triggered penile orgasm) I had a small one with my Tiger, and I think that something a little longer (~8-9" insertable) might help. I've also heard that this is great for the ladies, and I'm a big fan of toys that we both can enjoy. I've got a G-Ki, though, so maybe they're too similar and I should wait on a longer dildo.

Or should I get both, or neither?

I'd love to know on the throes, too. Someone who's had one for a year or two want to do a follow up?

I've been waffling over buying one forever.

We've had our Thoe for at least 18 months - we absolutely love it - mostly because it simplifies cleanup. The printed side is what we use most of the time - but on a hot summer day we'll use the cooler slippery back side. When we bought ours there was no 'shag' option - ours is 'microfiber'. I highly recommend the product.

I'm sure I sound like the devil on your shoulder - but you obviously really want them both... I think you should get both. You're not some newbie, Scott - you want them for good reasons. Just my indulgent 2 cents.

I have a posh throe, and have had it for about 6 months. Further, I have had two partners with posh throes that had been around maybe about a year or so when I saw and experienced them. If treated very very nicely - washing in cold water or by hand, hanging to dry - they really show no wear and tear. If you do what *I* did to my throe (that is, washing in loads with other towels and tumbling dry with heat) the colour starts to fade, as one might expect, and the materials starts to "pucker" somewhat - I think its due to one of the materials in one of the layers shrinking somewhat. Even so, this 'aging' happens ever so slowly. Other than that, however? Still awesome, liquid proof, and comfy.

I'll write a review on it some day. I am a tough customer and have put my throe through a lot - and its always fared well. GREAT investment.

Um and I also think Victoria is onto something...

It's great to finally hear some long-term feedback on the throes. I've been contemplating a shag throe, and it may be finally time to spring for one...

So - shag vs. microfiber? It looks like one of the shags is a bit bigger, but what do people thing of how they feel and work?

Didn't Epiphora end up with more than one? I think she ended up with both the microfiber and the shag. She reviewed the shag over at her blog, and compared the two styles. link

I'm pretty sure I'm going for the Shag Throe, then - sounds like a great product that will get used. Probably the big one, even though it's purple.

Still trying to decide if adding the G-force is prudent.

I have the purple throe in shag and I love it. Very soft and easy to wash.
