I have been looking at board games/card games for a few weeks and it looks like most the the games out there seem very limited, and many seem dated. I would like to see what others think about them.

Some of them are fun, but only for a little bit. After a while I kind of get tired of waiting to finish the game.

Of the games I have looked at I feel most are very dated or limited in some other way. Please detail what you have seen.
By limited I mean that once played there is little to no replay value.

Most of the games we have tried are very limited as to who will enjoy playing them. They usually are better for new couples. Some also don't have enough variety to make the game interesting after one or two plays.

I actually met my special person on an online role playing game. We don't play anymore, but we're definitely both gamers and it works to our advantage.

My wife and I own a game called Bliss that's like an adult board game on the pc (or ipad now). It's kind of cool if you buy the right version where you can create your own actions/scenarios for the game. I love it, but my wife isn't quite patient enough for board games.

Haven't played any game specifically. There are times when we play games and get competitive. At that point we make little bets and the loser strips.
