Curious about E-stem

So I keep reading the reviews for the line of electro toys trying to get an understanding of what they'd feel like. I absolutely hate getting shocked. Like, to where I hesitate before opening a door with a metal handle. Plus, my brothers used to torture me growing up by dragging their feet on carpet and zapping me when I least expected it.Does that mean I would hate it? Or is it a different sensation from static shock? Does it hurt? I'm into whips and crops and bandage, but this scares the shit out of me! Help!
