Questions about Kimono condoms

Are Kimono condoms smaller than regular condoms? My partner and I just got a bunch of random large sized condoms from our college's sexual health center, but when we got home and were looking closer at them, the Kimono microthin large condoms are way smaller than Magnums or the Lifestyles XL. We haven't tried to use them yet, but we're really skeptical that they'll fit my partner well. Anyone else notice this?
