Not to disagree, but its not really a "jackboot" paddle. Its more of a Vibram sole paddle.

Oooh, that's neat. I bet it leaves interesting bruises, but I can't tell from the picture if it'd be as mean as some of the paddles I've seen... My mentor makes some vicious ones.
