I've heard (from reviews) that shag is most absorbent.

I've had the shag throe so I can't compare, but it's been great for a couple years now.

I only own the shag... and LOVE it. Comfy, cozy, plush, and it washes great too!

Has anyone tried the safari one?

The reviews seem to say the SHAG.

Shag seems to be the best.

Shag throe is the largest. We love it for lots of things. It's very warm. I've fallen asleep under it, and woken up all covered in sweat. (Now, isn't that sexy?) It's a bit larger than the other ones, and the shag side is really soft.
They all have a wet proof middle, so they are a little... crinkly. But, they do a good job from everything to protecting the bed during sex, to use as a blankie, to just covering a chair to make you comfortable. I like to use our Shag throe in the winter to cover my legs, when sitting, watching TV, reading or hanging out on the computer.
I did find yesterday evening that when it's hot out (it was 80 degrees in our bedroom last night) the satin side is hot when your body is touching it. But, I'll flip it as soon as I can.

We've had a Liberator shag throe for several years now, and still use it regularly! Can't really say anything bad about it.

We have the purple shag throe and use it regularly. Opted for the shag since it's a little larger than the others and I thought it would be and feel more plush.

Shag looks like a giant bear rug made from a neon purple stuffed bear.
