Which toy cleaner would you say is the best out of these choices?

Contributor: Solar Ray Solar Ray 04/06/2011

Ok... so you must all have a bunch of filthy, filthy toys because I'm looking at getting some toy cleaner and almost all the ones I'm looking at are out of stock right now. Spring cleaning? :)

Anyway... the next best thing since I can't buy them right now is to know which are the best ones once they do come back in stock.

I'm especially looking for a product that will do a pretty thorough cleaning job or else I may as well just stick to carefully using the old standby of soap & water.

Lets assume the worst case scenario for the sake of finding the best cleaning product... an anal toy with plenty of ripple/ridges and crevices to clean etc.

So to put it plainly... which one of these do you all feel would clearly be better and more convenient than just using soap and water?

I'll buy the product(s)that get the most votes on this list. Any helpful comments would be appreciated as well.

Now Eden... let's get these all back in stock soon please... I'm sure a lot of us here have a lot of dirty, dirty toys that need your help in getting them shiny again.

Climax bursts, put it on, wait 30 seconds and rinse. After five bottles and seven months of using it I have had no issues whatsoever. And considering the wife and I share toys, I'd say that is pretty good.

This is a discussion I will be watching closely....since I am washing all my toys with soap and water now and I was curious about which of these would be the best.
Thanks for everyone's input!

We have been using the foaming System JO cleaner for quite awhile now. I love it. It pumps out all foamy so a little goes a long way. I am thrilled Eden carries it now~!

I use Before and After, after I use a toy, if I am too lazy to get up yo wash it I spray it with Before and After and take care of it later. Besides doing a good job at cleaning, I like the smell.

I rather use anti-bacterial when cleaning my toys.

The Pjur is a good cleaner by all accounts. I don't use toy cleaners myself, because so many of them are antibacterial. And the massive overuse of antibacterial products and antibiotics are the twin forces behind superbugs. So, yeah.

I really like the before and after spray. I wrote a review on it. [link|link]. I also received a free LELO cleaner and wrote a review on that one too [link|link] But the LELO is way too over prices. They all basically contain the same ingredients just different packaging. The 8 oz of before and after is better priced than the 4 ounce.

I just looked at the PUR also that is way to expensive, active ingredient is the chlorhexidine too. It's all the same.

I would probably get the Pjur med clean spray.

I like the Lelo, but I know I'm paying more basically because of the packaging, because it has the same ingredients as other things that work just as well for less money. However, if it gets left out accidentally it'll cause far less grief than the others, because it looks pretty innocent.
