Brand new in the package would be just fine.

We buy TONS of stuff on eBay. If you have high feedback people, I have NEVER had a problem. You have to realize, COMPANIES are selling there now. It is NOT an individual who is selling 346,000 sex toys, or 256,012 muffler clamps!!!!

Our local sex shop sells on eBay.

Would I buy from an individual? NOPE,not a sex toy. However, if it is from someone who has sold thousands of them, you KNOW it is a real BUSINESS, and I have complete comfort with it.

We remodeled our entire kitchen, with BRAND NEW, warrantied stuff off eBay at less then one third the cost. TOTALLY happy. One burner hob for our Jenn Air was broken, and on eBay it was sold by SEARS OUTLET. I emailed the guy and he said "take it to the nearest SEARS and they will replace it for you". I doubted it, but went to the Sears and sure enough, walked out with a new burner!!!!! YES, off eBay, at less then HALF the sale price in the store!!!!!

I would and have in the past. Some of the deals were just too good to pass up. Of course, it was always on products that wre brand new in sealed containers. I would never buy a used toy. Unfortunately eBay doesn't have as great of deals now I find.

I love eBay...for non sex toy related things. Shoes and purses, baby.

As to buying a sex toy, it'd have to be something I could boil/sterilize before use. Think like a Lelo Ella.

It depends on their feedback and the stuff would HAVE to come in it's original package, I wouldn't buy anything that didn't come in a package that had to be cut to get into.

It'd have to be from a trusted 'store' and still sealed.

I thought about it, but it didn't seem discounted enough on what I wanted. So I'm sticking to EF sales and points!

I just don't think we could. My wife is very careful with selection, and can get UTI's very easily, so just to be sure I'd say no.

Not from an individual but from a manufacturer or possibly a small toy store

Not unless it was a small company that produced the toy physically. I don't even trust most sex shops to sell things that are safe, so no way would I buy something from a random person on ebay. I might be inclined to buy kink related toys/accessories though, from someone with a good rating (corsets, crops, handcuffs, etc) - just not anything that comes in contact with my bits.

The thought of using someone's old toy....*shrudder*

It's not ebay you need to worry about. (Look for sellers with over 200 sales and a 95% plus rate). The real problem is paypal. Anyone who is in the know will agree. The second biggest worry would be sanitizing the toy. There would have to be a huge difference in price, to make it worthwhile.

I bought the Drac Dildo on Ebay. link
Eden doesn't carry it, and I won the bid for it for 30 dollars on Ebay. I bought it from a reputable power seller who allows returns. It came in the mail, brand new and sealed in original packaging today. I have yet to try it, but it looks amazing

So yeah, you can find really good deals on toys on Ebay. Just have to shop for it.

If I could be absolutely certain that it was new, I would. But that would only be a last resort.

Eh, not unless I was looking for something really specific and hard to find.

I voted maybe, but more like probably not, unless it was something EF didn't have that I really wanted.

I would if they had a high rating and the price was better than what I could get it for on here (which hasn't been the case so far). By far EF has the best prices.

I agree here. I wouldn't buy one from someone who hasn't sold any before, only sold a few UNLESS it was an obvious company.I've seen some people on there as well as Etsy that are selling glass or silicone dildos they made themselves and aren't an actual company. I wouldn't buy in that case because I'd be too paranoid that they don't know what they're doing or how clean the environment is where the toys were made.

Same here. I'd prefer to buy from a place I know has good customer service and that I trust, but I'm not 100% opposed to it. I have bought glass toys off of there, but that was three years ago about.

I'd say if you do buy it, when it comes in... sterilize it to high hell lol... Just for precautionary measures. I feel the same way thought... its like I really cant trust that no one has used it and there just selling this brand new toy... I think of it as like... I wouldn't by "New" Underwear on ebay, you know... but if you do... just clean the hell out of it that's all. =D

I've never been on ebay and how no idea how it works.

I don't mind buying from Amazon-like sites.
