Would you not buy a toy simply because...

It's officially associated with Fifty Shades of Grey? Or some other thing you aren't a fan of?

I think if it was good enough quality, and a large amount of the reviews were saying it was worth the money, I'd probably give it a chance, even if it had a name of something I don't like.

Maybe if I could like somehow cover up the name. Like I could put a sticker on it or if it was on the tip or something I could just hide it in my vagina and nobody would know.

Honestly if the toy was seriously great then I'd consider it. The 50 Shades line Eden carries right now looks lame and generic. If it was something completely awesome and affordable then I'd go for it but meh. I guess there are other people who will buy it solely based on the brand name so it doesn't matter.

We buy the toy for the toy...not for what it is or isn't affiliated with.

I don't really care if I like the thing.

It all depends on how it works...functionality over all.

I want to say I wouldn't buy any of the 50 Shades toys just on principle, but if it was something unique that got really good reviews I would probably break down and get it anyway.

I wouldn't buy a Fifty Shades toy strictly because of the association. But if it was something I wanted because of its function, I'd grab it.

If it sounded like something I would like to have and it was in Fifty Shades (or any other book or story) I would buy it.

I would feel bad for the poor toy to not be wanted just because of the name it was associated to.

I did get the Charlie Tango vibrator and the The Pinch nipple clamps, while the vibrator reminded me of my very first toy when I was young and wasn't strong enough it brought back fond memories of my first one years ago. The nipple clamps on the other hand were the best I've found so far, the tips actually stayed attached to the metal instead of sliding off like so many others I have do.

I buy things because I like them not because of who or what they are associated with

It depends on the toy itself. I will purchase any high quality toy with unique features that fills a void in our collection, regardless of branding.

Yes. I am against anything associated with the book.

My initial reaction was to skip everything branded as 50 shades. Some of the recent sex toys I am debating because they seem nice, but I won't bu 50 shades kink gear. It would be too embarrassing to use at our public dungeon!

My first thought was that I don't want to be associated with the 50 shades (or whatever) products, then I realized the only ones who would see the products are my husband and myself so it doesn't even matter.

I could care less if something if from the 50 shades of grey book, I don't know why people get so upset over it...

I buy a toy based on quality and whether or not it is something we are looking for in a toy.

I don't base my purchases on if something is or is not associated with a fad. Some of the SOG stuff looks cheap so I am not interested. The clamps look kind of interesting but I will wait for reviews. I base my purchases more on reviews than anything else. That is why I LOVE EF! Great reviews!!!

I'm just really sick of hearing 50 Shades of this and 50 Shades of that so I avoid every toy that's officially associated with those books.

It hasn't been a problem so far, but I guess if I disagree fundamentally with how a company is run or something like that I'd stay away from their products.

If it's a good quality toy, I'll buy it regardless of what it's associated with.

If it was still a quality toy at a reasonable price, I'd consider it.

Do you judge a book by its cover or title? Same applies to toys for me, the name of a toy or the line it comes from is NOT what is going to bring me pleasure. It will be the design, material and construction that will please me.

No, I've noticed that the Luna Beads Noir are on an ad on EF's homepage (dunno if it is still up) saying something like build your own fifty shades of grey package.. but they are great kegel balls.

I kind of rolled my eyes when I saw the new 50 Shades products. But...if I REALLY liked something, it wouldn't stop me from buying it.
