Contributor: Flash777 Flash777
I read a story a long time ago about a guy getting one stuck on while having sex. Has this ever happened to you?

Some lube/butter around and under the cock ring should help it get unstuck relatively easily. Much like a finger ring. Finger rings usually only get stuck (to the point of needing to cut it off) because you gain weight with it on. Butter/lube can usually remove finger rings too.

We've never gotten one stuck. But, like Kayla said, some lube or Boy Butter will help get it off. Also, using an ice pack (for only a minute or two at a time) on the penis should help it shrink enough to get the ring off.

If it's getting caught up in hair, I could see this as an issue. Otherwise, lube and some shrinky-dink action should get it off.

We use a silicone ring, so getting stuck is pretty much impossible I would think?

I read a similar story! If I remember, one thrust went wrong when he hit his girlfriends pelvic bone or something and had to go to the hospital! It scared me so bad that I've shied away from cock rings altogether. But my man still wants use them so I might have to get over this fear that I will hurt him and just do it!

Hadn't heard about that, but we've used a snap and silicone one and not the metal kind so it's easier to use. Lube should work too.

Agreed.

We've never had any problems with them getting stuck, but we have avoided metal rings because of that.

I've gone from 2" metal rings down to 40mm (just slightly larger than 1.5") metal rings as I've gotten more comfortable with using them. The 40mm is really, really tight and a bit uncomfortable, but EXTREMELY effective in use. I think the risk of getting a ring stuck is way overstated and, so long as you don't freakout and start forcing things back out, not really sure how you could get it stuck to the point of needing a run to the emergency room. Afterall, everything fit when you put the ring on. Relaxing, letting things simmer down, and then running a little lube around the inside of the ring and on the top of your penis will let you remove your penis and then your testicles (one at a time, of course).

Sounds like an urban legend - as adequately described by others, a little lube or ice would quickly solve any problem that occurred.

Yikes, that would be a bad situation. My partner and I use stretchy silicone rings only so far.
