Your bed. We are in the market now, and are wondering what type of matress you use, and what your thoughts are in regards to sex on the material. For instance we went from you standard inner-coil mattress, and it was great for sex, but fell apart quickly. We then went to a memory foam topper over a inner-spring and it was more comfortable, yet made certain positions slightly uncomfortable, especialy for my husband. The main issue being that you tend to sink into the memory foam. Now we are considering a latex mattress. Seems like it might be the best of both worlds. You get the extra comfort for sleeping, but the bed retains a certain amount of a springy quality that will make sex a little more comfortable. That or we might go for the full on Tempur-pedic memory foam bed. Any thoughts? Any of you out there have these types of mattresses or another type?

Oh and just for FYI, since it might matter in this case. We are both in good shape, he is 5-10 170 and I am 5-9 130. The mattress salesman told us that weight and build matter with bed materials, so just FYI.

We had various forms of water beds for years. We liked them but they are a hassle to move and we were looking at a change. We decided against the premium foam mattresses due to costs and opted for the Select Comfort adjustable air mattress. After 5 years we still like it - but my side leaks air requiring regular topping off. It's great to be able to make it firmer for sex - then a little softer for sleeping.

The second most important piece of furniture we have is our Liberator Wedge - when in the missionary position it transforms your penis into a g-spot seeking missile! It makes for a nice prop for a lying dogie position as well.

We currently have the Simmons Comfort-pedic Natural King mattress (just got it last month). We upgraded from the top of the line plush series(springs with pillowtop) Simmons, that was from 10 years ago. The Temper-pedic line sleeps like a cold slab of marble for about 6 months until you get it broken in. (my dad has the Cloud and a few friends have the Rhapsody --all say the same thing, it takes a long time to break in) Hence, the reason we chose the Simmons Comfort-pedic instead (25 yr warranty too). From day one it has been great. Check them out. You really have to lay on them for about 40 minutes to get a good feel for what they are like.

We are really rough on our mattresses . So far this one has been a dream!

I have a tempur-pedic memory foam mattress. I've had my for six months, I love it! Sex is nice and it really feels like I'm being caressed by the bed when I'm riding my bf. However, it is a bitch to get out off. I feel like I'm getting sucked back into my bed when I'm getting off of it in the mornings. I like having sex on my tempur-pedic than my boyfriends regular metal spring mattress, I swear I can feel the coils inside of his mattress! Good luck!
