As a sex toy connoisseur, do I NEED a Hitachi?

I already have an Eroscillator and some Lelo toys which can get me off reliably. I don't need super-strong vibrations to get off. Is it still worth it for me to get the Hitachi? Why or why not?

You don't NEED a Hitachi, but you'll probably wind up getting one at some point, if only to see what all the hype is about. If you don't need strong vibrations to climax, the Hitachi will probably be far too intense for you, anyway.

I say no. I require Hitachi strength vibrations to get off reliably, but since you don't it will likely be way too strong for you. Only get it if you would like to say that you've tried it, or if you want a basis of comparison for other toys. If you get an opportunity to review it, go for it, but I'm sure that there are other toys you'd rather try, and that you'd enjoy more.

I'd say only get it if you're truly interested. I had one for a while, and it was good, but I wound up giving it away after using it only a few times and the novelty of having the rock star of toys had died down. Darn thing made me itchy and it just didn't feel as good as many of my smaller vibes. I think broad stimulation isn't my thing, y'know?

If you're curious, go for it. I've heard so many good things about Hitachi but I'm torn between that and the Fairy wands. The Fairy wands are more aesthetically appealing but there is something about giving the cult classic a try. It's called the magic wand for a reason and I want to know why.

I didn't get my Hitachi until recently. It sits in the bottom of my box and it's unloved. I don't think Hitachi is more special then any other massager. I don't use it at all. I require power, but that toy is too broad with the vibrations.

I require super power and I still don't have it and really don't plan on getting it. If I end up getting it, it would be for my husbands back massages or on a super sale! I'm a sucker for sales. Other than that, I don't think I'd like it for myself. It's too big and bulky for me.

i personlly will get a form of plug in massager at one point just for the reliability

I wouldn't. There's nothing really special about it other than being really strong, and you don't seem like you need it to get off. :-/

I got one just to see. I'm not big on broad stimulation, but the vibrations are great. Sounds like they will be too much for your preferences. It might be good to have one as a point of reference for reviews, but other than that it's probably not needed.

Personally, I love mine. It is super strong, so if you don't need/want that, or if you get very sensitive, then you probably want to pass. If you want an item that will get you off in 60 seconds or less, buy it

If you're a connoisseur, you might want one for your collection, but for me I found the vibrations too strong, and it just numbed my clit.

It's nice to have, but can be too strong at times. I'd buy one just for those times when you do want more intensity, or even a traditional massage.

I bought myself a wand and I'm not going to lie... I was EXTREMELY happy with mine. I actually bought a fairy and I love every second of it. Nothing was strong enough for me until I finally got my hands on one!

I am never gonna get one because I like fairly weak, super rumbly vibrations. I know that I wouldn't use it because I have to plug it in, and that I wouldn't enjoy it because it's not something I need to get off. I personally wouldn't because of how you described your preferences.

If you don't like strong vibrations you shouldn't get wand, if you want a wand I'd personally recommend something with more adjustable vibrations. Like the Couture Collection Inspire link

I'd say you dont need a hitachi. I dont need a hitachi but if one day I wake up and am like "its a good day to rub off my clit" then I'll probably buy one. But until then... I'm good

I love mine but if you don't need it then don't get it. Only get it if you want too try it out and say you have. Mine comes in handy for work when I don't want too be sitting rubbing my clit with members who get off in 5 mins and then leave without me doing anything and getting started and then have to stop and still be horny.

I just ordered it, I figured I could use it on my shoulders if it doesn't work as a sex toy

If you don't need/want super strong vibrations I would say no, however it is great to have as a back massager, I know my partner is not a fan of it as a sex toy but he loves to use it when his back hurts.

I use my hitachi daily, so of course I'm going to encourage you to buy one ...I require strong vibrations for clitoral orgasms. Even if you can get off just fine I still recommend the hitachi. The orgasms it can give me are way more intense than with anything I've ever experienced. If it's too strong you can even use it through a blanket and it really does feel amazing! You gotta at least try it out

I wouldn't necessarily get a Hitachi, but I'd try some kind of wand someday. They are super strong. I have the Hitachi and Couture Pink Inspire and I prefer the Couture Pink Inspire because it's a lot smaller

I put off getting the Hitachi, like forever. I didn't like the look, heard it was noisy and is considered old technology. I was so wrong! I got it and fell in love with it even though I had a ton of vibe toys.

I can only use it on "low" as the high is just too intense for me. I have never used it with attachments but it is always in my nightstand, on a long extension cord, always ready to go!

Of note; the Hitachi is kinda an Iconic toy in porn shoots. A very successful and enduring vibe. Also great for body massages!

Go for it!!!

I am throwing in my hat and getting one, mostly for reliability. I've yet to find a vibe that will last more than 5 months, even luxury brands and I'm tired of spending a foot and a leg on something that starts acting up the third time I use it. When I hear people talking about using the Hitachi 10 years later, that's all I need to know.

In all reality, you don't need a Hitachi, especially if you don't need strong vibrations to get you off, but there's so much hype about this product, it kinda makes you want to get it. Sad but true. I'd rather have the Lelo Wand.
