I have found myself leaning more towards rechargeable toys and was curious about you.

Are you more a battery-operated toy person or rechargeable? Why?

Rechargeable toys are much better to my mind, because you don't have to worry about the presence of enough amount of fresh batteries and about their quality. Low-quality batteries may negatively impact on the vibration intensity of a toy even if it is meant to be very powerful.

And I've never seen battery operated toys to be waterproof.

Plus, using rechargeable toys are more eco-friendly thing to do than throwing out packs of batteries.

On the other hand, usually, rechargeable toys are more expensive and they required some time to be fully charged. With battery powered toys you just have to insert proper batteries and you're good to go.

Rechargeable toys are the way to go. The charge lasts about as long as regular batteries and I have always had a problem with regular batteries corroding and leaking in the battery compartment.

Rechargeable! I feel like I’m saving more money... even the rechargeable batters I’ve purchased from Duracell didn’t cut it..

Rechargeable batteries. I will buy toys that take regular batteries and they work just fine. But rechargeable is the way to go.

Rechargeable because you do not have to buy batteries and it saves money. Sometimes the ones that do take batteries are not as powerful as the ones that does not because the batteries could be to weak to charge the toy all the way so it works halfway.

Pretty much will only purchase rechargeable now and have for sometime. Why purchase batteries and less unnecessary toxic products for the landfills. I used to recycle my batteries, however what I have researched recently advises to throw them away if they are alkaline. Still not happy about that either, rechargeable is better for the environment hands down.

I definitely prefer rechargeable toys. They're more convenient, better for the environment, cheaper in the long run, and at least in my experience, they often tend to be more powerful than battery-operated toys.

That said, I do have a few battery-operated toys that I really love. Most of them are toys I've gotten as free promotional items from this site, but I think that there's one or two that I purchased myself. While I always prefer for my toys to be rechargeable, there's the rare occasion when I simply can't find a rechargeable version of a toy I really want. Even so, I won't buy a toy that's reported to be a battery guzzler in reviews, and I won't buy toys that take high numbers of large, expensive batteries, no matter how cool the toy might seem.

Rechargeable for me. I have a couple battery operated vibrators, but they don’t seem as powerful as my rechargeable ones.

Great question. I would think rechargeable as you don't need to worry about batteries. If you travel you only need to pack a charging cord to have fun anywhere.

Definitely rechargeable. Rechargeable toys are more powerful than battery operated toys. Plus, you don’t have to keep going to the store to buy more!

Although there is cons to rechargeable toys, like delicate chargers being easy to break, mysterious refusals to charge, having to wait... NOTHING is worse than that feeling of getting all excited to use your toy, then the batteries die and you can't find more anywhere! Plus, batteries aren't cheap, man! Rechargeable all the way for me..

In general, it makes no difference, you can buy accumulator batteries and a charger for them and problems with the constant purchase of batteries can be avoided.

You didn't ask about corded which I prefer for regular vibrators. They're always ready when you are -- when the mood strikes there's no need to have planned in advance to have a full charge or fresh batteries. I have both a magic wand and a personal massager. They give steady performance plus never fade or die before the climax. The only drawback is travel since you can't count on having a bedside outlet.

For a rabbit, I've never figured out a way to discretely leave one on the charger. It either needs to to sit out for anyone to see or have a cord running out of a drawer. I have both but the battery powered one gets used the most.
