It is most obviously worth it to buy rechargeable batteries. The initial cost is more but what is better? Spending more for batteries ONCE and having them last for a long time or buying cheaper batteries for the rest of your life?

Obviously, though, it's just better to buy a rechargeable toy period. What's even cheaper and more convenient than rechargeable batteries is a rechargeable toy.

I obviously try and go with rechargeable toys if I can...if not I get rechargeable batteries. I have the Duracell pack: the starter pack only cost like $10 and they have lasted multiple times. Plus it saves the environment!

Some of the rechargeable batteries do start to lose power as you use them more, but they are definitely worth getting. Right now we've got just regular batteries in our toys, but the next time we pick up a set of rechargables that are fresh we'll be back in that bandwagon.

Rechargeable is economic, and good for the environment but there is something about the simplicity and ease of batteries. I don't know I'm torn

I love rechargeable toys. Less of a hassle, and so worth it if you are confident the toy will be a frontrunner in the collection.
