Hi, I made a thread about the vroom settings awhile back, but I wanted a bit more information.

I'm familiar with the descriptions for the bee/vroom settings (they're listed on the site at edenfantasys.com/bee and /vroom). However, I'm looking of things that they could be compared to. For instance, something suggested a toothbrush = 1 or 2 vroom setting. What would an electric toothbrush (Oral-B whitening! ) rate as a bee? What other common things could the bees and vrooms be compared to?

That's a difficult question to answer, as it's quite subjective. However, I have noticed in one of your previous posts that you were worried about attracting attention from roommates and such. In that case, anything over 2 bees will probably be "too loud", especially if you have large gaps under your doors (like my old dorm) and a hallway outside that isn't carpeted.

Personally, when comparing the toothbrush I used to use, I'd rate it about a 2 without the brush head on top. It's really subjective, though. And yeah, if you're worried about roommates hearing you, I'd shy away from anything over a 2.
