I say smooth for a first because you have to learn what you like and the best way to do that with anything is to start with the basics.

I'd keep it fairly simple and smooth/straight and reasonably moderate in size for a first timer. Something no more than about 1.25" in diameter is a good moderate size and preferably silicone or similar material that's easy to clean and work with.

Smooth because you might not like the textures, especially at first.

I had a wavy toy as my first and think that worked fine for me, but it's not what I suggest for a first toy for others.

Smooth. Start with something very basic to figure out what you like.

On behalf of my wife, she would say smooth as in a bullet, her first orgasm came from using a silver bullet. She still loves silver bullets although she can now cum from other toys and shapes too. Man is experimenting and playing and exploring fun together!

Smooth!

feels like this should be multiple choice. I voted "gradual curve" but I think the curve should be smooth.

I agree smooth for sure!!

Definitely smooth, texture can be intimidating and difficult if you're just figuring it out.
