This isn't as simple as it seems. Every wand I have has a drawback or 2. I love my hitachi. but its too loud and its heavy, I love my wahl, but none of the attachments suit me just right. And the one I use most often, the inspire wand by couture, gets quite hot if used for more than 15 minutes. I like that it is deep and rumbly and that you can adjust the speed, and it has a detachable silicone head that makes cleaning it more convienient. I havent tried a fairy because the reviews I read said buzzy. I hate buzzy so I have stayed away so far. I guess the real answer as to which is the best is which ever wand suits your preferences. I do agree though that every well stocked toy box should have at least one wand!

I would say the Hitachi is definitely worth the price. Every toy will have it's pros and cons, but usually you get what you pay for with vibrators.

There is a lot of differences in the wands, so many to choose from, I would read the reviews on the fairys and others too before you make a decision.

I love my Fairy Mini mostly because it's lighter than the Hitachi and has multi-speed built in as well as a carry pouch to keep things discreet.

I have never seen, held, or used the fairy wand. I do however own a hitachi and it is everything people say it is. It is loud, it lasts forever, you never have to worry about batteries, you can even use it for a back rub lol. Its not very portable but its always where you need it to be.

The Hitachi scares me, personally, because I don't need or even like that kind of strength. I bought the Vibratex Rechargeable Mystic Wand and ended up using it primarily as a shoulder massager, because it's too strong for me, but it has a lot of really nice features.

I have a few wand-style vibes and the BodyWand is actually my favorite right now. I like that it has a dial instead of a switch, so you can control the power much more precisely.
