Have you ever broken or lost a toy and cried about it?

I can say I have.

I haven't, and in most cases I can't see myself doing so. A have a few that I might be quite upset to see damaged or lost, though. It mostly depends on how much I liked the toy and how difficult (or expensive) it would be to replace.

When I moved recently I packed all of my toys in a smaller luggage bag and put it inside a larger suitcase so that no one who was helping me would open it up and find my stash. When we got to my destination the suitcase was no where to be found in the moving truck and I was devastated. I, of course, couldn't tell anyone else why I was nearly in tears over a suitcase being missing. I just kept telling them the suitcase had been an expensive purchase. It had been, truthfully, but it was my toys I was more upset about. Of course, the multiple luxury toy items I own added to the cost of the suitcase meant that was actually a very valuable suitcase, sentimental attachments aside! Luckily, the suitcase had been put on a shelf inside a piece of furniture. I was so relieved when it was found.
