What is the difference between a dildo and a vibrator? I am really new to this.

As a rule, anything that vibrates is a vibrator. Dildos are usually phallic shaped toys without motors, as some women (and men) like to feel fullness without vibrations.
I, as many of us here, have both, some that are only vibrators, like the Hitachi and the Wahl. These are classified as "massagers" as they are not inserted, but used on the clitoris to bring on arousal and orgasm. I have some phallic vibrators, that look like the classic "vibrator" and some bullets (tiny little vibrators for clitoral use) and pocket rockets.
I also have a number of dildos, which are not powered, and used for penetration either vaginal, oral or anal. There are also dildos with power attached, called, of course "vibrating dildos."
Take a look through Eden's toys and see what is classed in each category. A lot of toys fall into more than one category.

A dildo does not run on batteries where as a vibrator does and also has different speeds. A dildo is hand powered where you control the speed.. Thanks for the question.

It it vibrates its a vibrator. As a general rule a dildo is more firm, but that's iffy now.

What they said. I'm only commenting cause I'm your friend, lol. Vibrator= vibrates, Dildo = doesn't vibrate.
