I was wondering what people do with toys they just don't like. I hate to throw them away, because I feel like I'm throwing away money. I usually hold onto it, hoping that some day I might try it again and enjoy it. It's happened before.

there are some that my hubby had bought for his ex wife that she never used and i dont like them so i tossed them out!

but if i buy it and dont like it i still keep it bc when i show poeple my toys they may like it if they see it! so its a win win! they like they order i make 5%!

There should be an other option...

If they can't be sterilized, are damaged, etc, i toss them. If not, i either give them away or sell them, depending if they can be sterilized fully.

This. If it was really inexpensive I might throw it away. But, a lot of my friends like things that I don't. So if it can be sterilized and they want it I pass it on to them.

I would normally vote "other" because it depends on what the toy is, whether I'd throw it away or give it away.

That's what happens to our too. They just sit in a drawer, just incase we find a use. Some are too new to throw away.

If it was an inexpensive toy or if it broke I will throw it away. Otherwise I put it in my giveaway box, hoping that I will find someone who wants them. Unfortunately I don't really have anyone in my life I feel comfortable talking to toys about, so I don't know how I will ever be able to give them away.

This for me too.

I don't have anyone to give mine to and don't know that I would even if I did. I like to have a large collection even if not all of it works for me. I don't like getting rid of toys!!

All of the above. We give away what can be sterilized and throw away what can't. And sometimes things we never use linger in the toy box for some unknown reason.

Wish this was multiple choice. Most duds get thrown away eventually, though I tend to hoard them in the Box of Shame for a while first. If I can fully sterilize it, I might give it to my friend - I did that with a few glass and silicone dildos a while back.

I might give a dud a few chances, but I don't think any have ever redeemed themselves.

I eventually throw them away if I don't like them, but I have to be really sure I don't like them and it often takes a couple of years.

I save all toys until they break. If they break, they're gone. I can think of one silicone toy I tossed, because I absolutely hated it.. And I don't like the idea of giving away a used sex toy. I know lots of people are fine with it, but it's kind of an icky thought to me, so I junked it.

I throw away inexpensive toys that are made out of inferior materials. I'll probably end up keeping silicone toys that I don't like for way longer than I should.
