I know that I focus more on vrooms than anything else, but how about the rest of us? Does the name of a vibrator (or other toy) sway you in either direction?

It's usually what gets my attention so in that sense it's already had it's influence but in terms of ultimately purchasing it as a result of the name I wouldn't say so.

Hmmm, I've never thought about that. While I've never consciously decided to purchase or not purchase a product due to its name, I'm sure that it does affect my perception of the product to some degree. I mean, what sounds sexier? A generic color+type of product, or something that's descriptive?

Not really, no. I tend to rename my vibrators for conversational purposes when in public. So if I really hated the name of something but still found great reviews and thought it would work for us, I'd buy it and just give it a new name.
But I do agree with Annemarie. If I find one vibe within a line that I don't like, I am guilty of judging the rest of the line. Unless of course I find a stellar review that I can relate to, I might reconsider.

I think that subconsciously it does. I would be more inclined to buy something named "Isis," "Gigi," "Harmonia," or even "Flower power" than something named "Nikki Sexxx's Double Giant Penis Probe."

A little on a very silly level. All the toys I like have nice names, anyways. And I get deterred by a toy on the cheaper side if it's name is doing all the foot-work. A name should stand on it's own and that is that.
