Electrostimulation

I'm curious what the members of the EF community think about electrostimulation/ele ctrosex. I'm aware of its medicinal and recreational use. The Jopen Intensity is definitely an innovative product because it integrates medical technology into a pleasure object. Although there are other electrostimulation options which do tend to be considerably more pricey. Are these other products comparative in the efficacy of strengthening PC muscles? I personally own the a She-Stim She-Stim (product not carried on EF). I liked the She-Stim because it was less intimidating in appearance than other options on the market and because it was less expensive comparatively. I enjoy e-stim but it is one of those things that some people seem to love it others don’t.
Also, I think users considering the Jopen Intensity or other options on the market such as the Fetish Fantasy Series Shock therapy Fetish Fantasy Series Shock therapy which is carried on EF should be aware of the potential risks. Anyone who has a heart condition or who has any sort of internal medical device should speak to a doctor before attempting to use any e-stim product. Also the packaging on the Fetish Fantasy Series Shock therapy depicts a woman with the conductive pads on her nipples. The heart beat is naturally regulated by electrical impulses and sending an electrical current through your chest is a majorly dangerous idea. Electrical play should stay below the waist. I haven’t noticed any warnings about product use with the Jopen Intensity which is a little scary.

The idea of it is interesting but I don't actually think I would be brave enough to try it.

I've been electrocuted many times, both "just a light tingle" and strong jolts. It's just something that happens when you work with water and electrical equipment. I never found it erotic in any way and it always made my heart flutter uncomfortably, and sometimes I would feel out of breath or nauseous. I don't get why anyone would be aroused by these feelings, but whatever makes you happy!

Nope. Not for me. While I can sort of understand the appeal this sort of thing might have for others, that appeal just isn't there for me. I don't ever want to purposely shock my skin, let alone my vagina.

I am curious about it, but given the price and my own hesitations with electric play of any kind I probably will not actually get it.

These warnings are included in Jopen's manual, and I wrote them up in my review, as well. They don't mention not using it above the waist (though since you need full electrode contact, I don't see how you could easily make the circuit if it wasn't inserted. )

Jopen's manual does state that Intensity is not for anal or oral use, and that it should not be used by pregnant women, or women with pacemakers.

I have the Intensity. I will get a full review up when I've played with it more. So far, I find the electrostim to be very pleasurable but not quite orgasm inducing. It feels like an orgasm, but isn't exactly. I like it enough to be interested in buying other internal electrostim toys after using Intensity. I also think it seems like an awesome PC muscle workout.

It also has the "IMPORTANT : do not turn on until fully inserted" bit which I assume has something to do with the electrostim. I don't know what, but I know I make sure it's all the way in!

I had just mashed the down button instead of the off button once before taking it out, and I was accidentally on level 1 instead of level 0, and when that got to my pubic bone MY GOSH did it zap me. I thrust it all the way back in, turned it off properly, and will NEVER make the same mistake again.

Eek! I've been so nervous about doing that and what would happen. I always triple check that it's off. Nice to know what happens, sorry it happened to you though!

It's good to know that there are warnings included with the product but I think it would be more professional on the companies part to make the warnings clearly available prior purchase.

I bought the Nexus iStim on Sale. I might get some She-stim attachments in the future. They are compatible.

I understand the reluctance to have like electrical shock in our treasued vagina - I did a lot of research on the topic and found myself feeling ok to go ahead and try Intensity - boy, am I a happy little camper that I did.

So can you get shocked easily with this? I am curious about the effects it seems to have for PC strengthening but it makes me nervous.

I am tempted to try it just to see what the stim feels like internally, but for 250$ I want to be sure I want it!
