My roommate has a zini ran that she says has been glitching lately. I am hoping to cash in some points and use some cash to get my first zini product. I am not sure if it is just her product or is it a manufacturer thing. Anyone else have issues?

Yes. Don't go Zini. My seed, while I wanted to love it, was horribly defective. I asked for a replacement at first, but it was suggested I get a refund since many zini products have been acting screwy. So many that EF has contacted Zini about it,

I have the Zini Roae, Ran and Zook. There have been no problems with any of them and I have had the Ran and Roae for almost a year now. I guess I am one of the lucky ones--mine run and are still operating as they did new.I love all of them but the Roae-which does not fit my anatomy.

I have heard of one of the Zini products being problematic and you know, someone was just saying yesterday that they had to return a defective Ran! That's fishy to me, and due to the issues being so common, I avoid it. Just like as badly as I want to, I won't buy Form 2 because it's got problems. I personally wouldn't because it's not worth it with it priced so high. It'd be different it the price equalled the defect! I had a problem with my first Vitality, but the second one works like a charm, so minor issues that aren't likely in every one of the toys doesn't bug me, but I won't go out and spend my $ on something I know has known issues. It's a shame such pricey toys come with so many problems. I'd just pick something else unless my heart was completely set on it.

Did you try getting it replaced Sisterluck?
I have the Zook it doesn't work right I have unlocked it and everything but the control pad was cracked when I got it and it only turns on when its charging.
