Help me decide on a G-Spot Vib!

Contributor: QSBybakd QSBybakd 01/19/2012

I'm buying myself a birthday present soon, but I'm not sure exactly which G-Spot vibrator I should get. Ideally, I would like to find a really rumbly vibrator with a pronounced g-spot head that isn't too girthy for me (preferably made of silicone). I've come up with a handful of options that I would like some input on.

I would love to buy myself the Patchy Paul, hearing of his wonderful deep vibrations, but I know he won't fit and it makes me want to cry. See, I'm still really small unfortunately, so I kind of need toys that are either slim or tapered/contoured, and I doubt anything wider than an inch and a half would be very comfortable.

I'm also extremely interested in Gigi, though, which appears to be just about the perfect size for me, and I've heard great things about it thus far. I really love the way the head is shaped to stimulate the G-spot, and I just adore how beautiful she looks in purple. I have heard mixed reviews about the vibrations, though - rumbly, buzzy, powerful, average? This is pretty much the only question keeping me from deciding on Gigi right now. I don't necessarily need a powerhouse, but I'm definitely looking for something rumbly instead of buzzy.

The Extase Zenith is not silicone, but I know this one to be rumbly, and the shape and size are also just about right for me. She apparently has a glitchy control button, which worries me a bit, but my biggest problem is the material. I like toys with some give to them, and unfortunately plastic doesn't do that.

Should I suck it up and go for Paul, and gradually work my way up to his size?

Or does Gigi's vibrations offer what I'm looking for?

What about the Zenith?

Is there some other toy I've overlooked that you feel like suggesting?

I would go for one of Joepn's or Leaf's vibes if you're willing to pay almost 100$ for Gigi but that's just my opinion. But if I had to choose between just the 3 you listed I would choose Gigi.

First, I would ask, have you found your g-spot ? Have you tried any "cheaper" toys ?

G-spots are picky and I would recommend trying out something cheap first to see if the shape works for you and then using those shapes to decide on a higher-end toy.

For instance, depending on anatomy, you might prefer more or less curve. The G-Ki and the Delight offer a lot of curve, whereas toys like the Liv and Uma have a very shallow curve.

Uma is very rumbly, but the curve is not enough to reach every g-spot and I'd try a cheaper shallow curve toy first to see how it would "fit" for you.

Not sure about "give", though. Uma doesn't really have any. I've heard the Jopen line is somewhat flexible for some "give".

I'm not sure about the Gigi, but silicone can be draped over a hard core, so even a silicone toy might not really be squishy.

If you've already identified a preference and think these would all work for you, I'd go with the Gigi.

I'm also gonna put in a vote for one of the Jopen vibes. They are super rumbly! Check out the Vr8 or Vr9.

Paul has VERY rumbly and VERY strong vibrations, but if it won't fit, then it's probably going to be a frustrating purchase for you. The G spot curve is very light on top of that which doesn't like up with what you were saying you wanted originally. Paul doesn't get anywhere near my G spot, but the vibrations are heaven!

Gigi is rumbly-light. It's not buzzy, but it's not mind blowing amount of rumble either. The power is low, so that takes away from it somewhat. If you need some kick to your toys, Gigi may not work for you. The shape is nice if your G spot isn't overly picky. I like Gigi, but it doesn't hit my G spot and the vibrations are too weak for my tastes.

I don't have the Zenith, so no comment on that one. Sorry!

I'm a guy, my vote wouldn't really count. I'll be interested to see what the girls here choose as their "go to" toy.

I second Chirple; have you found your g-spot yet? Have you tried anything yet that works for you? IF so find something with a very similar shape to what works for you.

Out of those, I would choose the Gigi. That's what I would like to try, personally, and it sounds to me like you are a leaning more toward it than the others by the way you spoke of it, too. There are tons of toys out there, so if you're still unsure even after the poll results, then maybe you should keep looking. I know it's overwhelming choosing because the reviews may sway you, but you can't knock it until you've tried it yourself!

I have read the Gigi is really nice if you have located your G.

Thanks for all the responses! I really want to be sure of what I'm getting since I plan on spending so much on a high quality toy.

@ stainedclear: I'm definitely adding the Vr8 and Vr9 to my list! Both of the smaller ends of these toys look amazing! And I appreciate the info on Patchy Paul, I assumed that because of the head shape he would be really good for G-stim.

Minna Ola looked nice at first glance, but it seems like the curved end is actually the handle, and the thick shaft is the insertable portion? My body doesn't respond well to that shape of toy, unfortunately. Not yet at least.

And yes, I have found my G-spot Other than with my fingers, I've been able to stimulate it easily with a really slim G-spot vib I purchased from this site sometime last year, which has a nice curve to it. But other toys I've used, ones that are more phallic in shape or too girthy, are very uncomfortable for me and don't give me pleasure at all, so I'm trying to steer clear of anything like that. Something with a pronounced G-spot head but a slim shaft would be ideal.

Out of those I would say gigi! A quality Lelo vibe.

But I think you should really consider looking into the G-Ki. It's silicone with a flexible g-spot head- if you want a more pronounced head this is it. Highly recommend.

I just watched the video review for G-Ki and it sounds great for me. Another toy to add to my list, thanks!

Out of those you have listed, I'd say the Lelo Gigi. (which is on my list, actually.)

But I would also suggest the Zini Ran (which is on sale right now!) or the Je Joue Uma (rumbly rumbly vibrations). The Uma doesn't have as pronounced of a G-spot curve as the G-Ki does, however.

I love my Lelo Liv which is essentially the same toy as Gigi with a different head. She's rumbly. I don't find her to be buzzy at all and she's a very comfortable size to me. She doesn't have much give to her though since it's just silicone draped over a hard form, but the material is very soft and comfortable. I'd say go with Gigi though. I'm completely sold on Lelo's whole line.
