I cannot compare to either the Perk or the Buzz, as I have neither, but compared to other dildos I own, such as the Acute and the Amor (both silicone), it's much firmer... it's actually one I don't use very often, despite loving its girth, because it's almost *too* firm, especially during orgasm.

Perk looks roughly the same size as the Silk Large (which I have), assuming they are made of the same type of silicone, the Vamp is much harder. I would assume all of these toys are made of the same type of silicone, I think the Vamp seems harder because it is larger diameter.

I didn't think it was particularly hard when I felt one but definitely not as soft as the Silk dildos. It felt a lot like my O2 dildo.

It's definitely firm. It's less giving than the VIP or Buzz, that's for sure. Combining the girth with the firmness, it takes a lot of warmup for me to take the Vamp. Despite this, it's currently my favorite dildo.

If you want the same shape as the Vamp, but much much softer, then go for the wonderful Pack 'n' Play No.1
