I Don't Understand "Rabbit" Style Toys

Contributor: Bubba29 Bubba29
You all know the ones I am talking about. They are part vaginal dildo and part clitoral vibe and they are integrated into one toy. Question for you ladies is are they good at doing either? Can you thrust with them AND get enough clitoral stimulation to do the trick? If you hold it on your clit, is it a good enough clitoral vibe to do the trick? While holding it still on the clit, does the full feeling the dildo part provides add to the experience or does it leave you wanting a thrusting motion?

I am just a confused man without a vagina. Based on the women I've "toyed" around with, this type of design doesn't seem like it would be good at what they would like.

So tell me do you like these types of toys or not. If you do, tell us how they work for you. Or even share your lack of satisfaction. What are your experiences?

All the ones I have tried, have not matched up with my anatomy.
The main reason I purchase rabbit style is for a rotating shaft and clitoral stimulation, at the same time.

I'm a man, but I can tell you that rabbits are hit and miss. Some of them are wonderful, some of them would have been better melted down as packaging for a REAL toy.

There are MANY different kinds of dual stimulation toys. I can't stand the ones like you described, where the shaft is only a dildo and doesn't vibrate, because I need internal stimulation to get off.

I love the ones where it's an internal vibrator with an external vibrator attached, where each has a motor. Almost all of the higher end ones will have this and will advertise 'dual motors.'

There are also some where the shaft is similar to a dildo in that it doesn't vibrate, but does have a motor to make it thrust, make it 'wiggle,' or make beads rotate. These don't really do it for me, but I know a lot of women swear by them.

In total, it depends on your anatomy. You have to do a lot of measuring and using a protractor to find a rabbit that will fit your anatomy, as every lady is different, but once you find one it's a lot of fun.

I haven't found a rabbit style vibrator I like. I like to be able to thrust a toy and have constant, steady clitoral stimulation. Like you said, most rabbits don't allow for this.

Its key to find a toy that fits your anatomy well. If you have something that fits what you get is either a nice feeling of fullness or good G-spot pressure with clitoral stim at the same time. Thrusting isn't the most important part of masturbation for everyone, but its nice. Also remember the way you have sex with your partner is not the same as how you have sex with yourself.

With my favorite rabbit (Paul & Paulina) I can thrust at a slight angle without the clit arm losing contact. That's the best.

Finding a toy that matches your anatomy is pretty much key to whether you like rabbits or not, from what I've been told, but I'm not always crazy on thrusting motions anyway, so just grinding usually does fine for me.

I do more of rocking and twisting motions anyway, but I'm still not crazy about clitoral arms (I kept finding I was mashing my clit into them or hitting it at the wrong angle). I've only used a jelly rabbit, so not a great quality one, and maybe a nicer one would change my mind. But for now I like being able to move two toys independently.

I tend to not like them. I find that they don't fit well with my anatomy.

I really enjoy them... it's been a while since I've used one, though.

I've really been wondering about this lately. I know when I use a clitoral vibrator I often have to continuously adjust to hit just the right places and move the folds and skin aside. I'm just wondering if a solid clitoral "arm" reaching up from the bottom would really give me what I need. Seems like a miss...

They're awesome! Like many other things though it all comes down to personal preference.

I like rabbit toys but they can be hit-or-miss when it comes to how well they suit you. My clitoris is also bit high up, which doesn't help. Dual motors help a lot when it comes to sensation - and even in the ones with only one motor, I enjoy feeling "full" while I use the rabbit part to stimulate my clit, even if it isn't effective when I'm thrusting it.

It basically depends on what kind of stimulation you're looking for. Most rabbits don't lend themselves to thrusting, and instead rotate or vibrate. And of course there's the anatomy issue, which is the most common complaint with rabbits.

I haven't found a rotating one I've liked yet (which is disappointing, since I like "wiggling" my dildos in a similar manner when I'm not thrusting with them), but I've got one that simply vibrates that I really love. I do find myself moving it from side to side to rub against my clit and stimulate it more, but I do the same with my non-insertable vibes, too - I like toys I can rub with.

I lucked out in that my first time trying a rabbit, it worked really well. My favorite right now is the Black Label Jack Rabbit, but I tuck the ears under, so I do adjust it. I also have no trouble thrusting it, but I don't need deep strokes when I have everything else going on.

I'm thinking of buying a G-spot vibe & using it with a separate clit vibe, (such as the Mona 2 + my Salsa) and seeing if that type of arrangement is any better than a two-in-one rabbit.

I don't mind them, they work pretty well for me but they're not my favorite either.

It really depends on the rabbit. I love my Calla, because I can grind against that external disc and the internal motor hits my g-spot well. But that isn't so much a thrusting motion, more of a rocking/grinding. Rabbits that are more traditionally shaped aren't my favorite for the reasons you listed. I like internal movement, and most of the clitoral arms I've used kinda bug me.

I love my rabbit but find that it makes me come so fast the experience of masturbating is not as long and sometimes I don't want that.

Yeah, I like a lot of pressure on my clit which isn't really possible with a rabbit vibe. I like the freedom of two separate toys.
