Can you get off with outer stimulation (such as clitoral stimulants), inner stimulation (such as g-spot stimulants), or both?

So, what do you do when a toy breaks? Do you try to fix it or just go get another one? What if you're in the middle of using said toy?

If it happened in the middle of being used, I'd be pissed. It's not happened to me before, but that happening, and not being able to fix it, might put me out of the mood. I guess that's where having multiple choices for certain functions comes in handy!

My toys are all made with good quality materials, nothing has ever been broken inside me.

If a toy breaks, the sensible thing to do is to dump it, or return it to the retailer/manufacturer if it's still under warranty.

I can get off from either internal, clitoral, or a combo of both!

I do better with clitoral, I just don't get any pleasure from the g-spot, but I DO enjoy that feeling of 'being taken', but to actually get off my clit needs attention.

I do much better with external than internal. I'm just a lot smaller than most toys so actually getting one that feels comfortable inserted is a bit of a challenge.

Can do either, but clitoral is easier.

Both are nice, but external is definitely necessary.

If I had to choose between the two, internal!

Both, but external is more promising. Still, both are usually what I want.

I can't orgasm from penetration alone unless it's anal, but I can/do orgasm with dual stimulation.

There used to be toy recycling programs. I'm not sure if any are in operation right now. If something breaks, I just let my husband take it apart and tinker with it. He's into electronics.

Gah, I didn't read the question properly, and somehow thought it was a "what do you prefer" poll. I need to stop posting and voting when I'm tired.

Although I have gotten off with just internal stimulation, it took so freaking long that it's only happened once so far. So while I technically can orgasm from internal stimulation, I generally see the internal as an additive to the clitoral.

As for toy breakage, I usually just toss a toy that's broken and either get another if it was really good or try something different (though some manufacturers have nice warranties, including the makers of my favorite toy - lucky for me!). If one were to break in use... well, I'd be annoyed, but my clit and hand get along with each other just fine, so I wouldn't be in danger of not finishing.

My wife like 'blended orgasms' which require both internal & external stimulation together. Learning how to give my wife blended orgasms is probably the best gift I've ever given her - more rewarding than the diamond necklace I gave her on our wedding day.

Just grab another out of the toy box. Only one has died (fairy wand) on us mid-session and it was no big deal, just plugged the Hitachi in and kept going. We don't mess around with cheap toys that can break anymore.

I'd second this!

Clitoral seem to be much more intense and satisfying. I do have internal orgasms with some good, hard penetrative sex. However, my current partner and I do not have penetrative sex so we have been trying to figure out what really works for me. Right now I seem to be doing best with a Vixskin dildo in me while working my clit manually. Anything hard internally really hurts when I orgasm. I have a feeling that's pretty unusual.

Both, but I need to explore g spot stimulation more.
