Before I take the dive into the legendary Hitachi, I just wanted to hear from others about its intensity to see if it might be right for me. I'm afraid that I'll buy it and it'll wind up being an expensive paperweight, so here are the details...

I tend to go numb not necessarily from intensity, but rather from duration. If it takes me a long time to come and I don't give myself a break, bam, numbness. I've read other reviews on here of women complaining about going numb, but it always seems to be because it's too intense, and not necessarily because of length of time.

Any thoughts?

The Hitachi magic wand vibrator is powerful. It was made to bring woman to their peak within seconds of using it. But without attachments it is meant for clitoral stimulation. If you decide to purchase it and think it's too powerful try getting some attachments they decreace the power some plus give it a different feeling. But regardless it will not be a useless paper wieght, it has other uses, it also makes a wonderful back massager.

I definitely had that problem, not with intensity, but duration. It feels great, but it takes me a while too, and a lot of the time it was hard to get there with the Hitachi. I recently bought a Lelo Smart Wand (haven't reviewed it yet) and "Oh My God." Well, I thought it took me a while to come, lol. So, maybe you should try something else (:

i'm a huge power queen, and this is too intense for me at times. the low is a bit too low though, so i often end up using it on top of clothing of my fingers.
