I wouldn't use numbing things in anal play. If something bad happens down there, you won't be able to feel it...which is REALLY bad.

NO. I wouldn't, I don't do anal but if they really DO numb, if you are trying a textured toy or something bigger than you are used to, you could hurt yourself!

I would not use a numbing lube because if something slips the wrong way you will not know until the numbing wears off

nope, I would not use it.

As everyone else has said, it's not a god thing to numb yourself. Pain is your body's way of telling you something is wrong. It's not okay to ignore that, especially in anal.

Whenever I do anal I never use a numbing lube. a) i kinda wanna feel that, b) i do feel it would be dangerous. I just use typical "wet" brand medical lubricant (picked it up at Rite Aid) and that works great for me.

You could cause muscle stretching and possibly bleeding, I would not advise using numbing lube. Anyways, why would you want to numb the pleasure you could be receiving if you do like it.

Never, ever use a numbing lube for anal play. Ever.

So glad I stumbled upon this! I was wondering the same thing but after reading this, we won't be trying this!

I've always wondered this - for myself, I'd play it safe and not use them.

This was my exact thought when I saw the title of the thread. Water-based lube is usually a good bet for anal, I wouldn't assume numbing lubes would be that great or safe.
