I'm confused, Could someone who knows give us the deets. I know some of these had/ have charging issues. Some skin bubbling problems. The third button? Is that a dedicated vibe pattern button.

I'm confused by the way the pages are set up. I'm worried that the ones on the Mimi page might not all be the new Mimi. Call me paranoid. The new Mimi has the 3rd button, which, like the Uma and Fifi is a dedicated pattern button to scroll through the patterns. No word yet on whether the bubbling problem is fixed or if the motor is any different/stronger. Since Fifi and Uma have the exact same charging system as the original Mimi, I'm sure the charging system on the new Mimi is identical as well but have no proof of this. I really want the new Mimi though. I've been saving up points and I'm almost there!

The new Mimi is available now. I ordered it yesterday. It is the new one because they were completely out of the previous version and were awaiting the new version to get in stock. I have been in regular contact with eden staff about this over the last two months. I couldn't imagine it would be the old one. She assured me it would be in stock within a couple weeks, and now it is.

If you are concerned about it, you should send a support ticket to find out. They are pretty good about responding to those.

Good Luck.

I can't wait to read reviews on the new one to see if the bubbling silicone issue persists. I want to buy Mimi sooo bad, but that might be a dealbreaker
I read in another thread that someone poked a tiny hole with a needle and that solved the bubbling problem, but I wouldn't want to have to do that (especially for a pricier, high-end toy)

Customer service says the new Mimi has "a different sealant that discourages puckering of the silicone". Hoping "puckering" translates to "bubbling. I just ordered mine this morning and am super psyched to get it. Just hope the new sealant means no bubbling up.

It's supposed to arrive Monday. I can't wait. I've also enlisted help in the testing process! I will definitely put it through its paces and hope to have a review up in a week or two.

I'm a little bit ticked! With their new way of shipping it takes longer to get stuff,we ordered ours last week on his account and got it today and we got the OLD Mimi with 2 buttons when we ordered from the page with the new 3 button one! Now I'm waiting to hear from them about what is going on but I'm frustrated because now we are going to have to send it back and wait LONGER for the replacement.
Why even put the new page up if you're going to send people the WRONG one?! We had enough on his account to get the old one but did a buyout to be able to get the new one. I mean I don't want to write the review on the OLD one when I could have gotten it on sale. I have every impression that we were getting the new one. UGH.

I think others will appreciate this. If you choose USPS allow one extra day for delivery. No matter what level of service you choose from the post office. It's the way they are dealing with the massive losses, a service downgrade. If you want stamps, and you go to the post office, get in by 8 A.M., to get out by 4 P.M.

I still don't have any issues with my MiMi and I've used it quite a bit and for long-ish periods of time.

I think the naming of the new Mimi as just Mimi is SO confusing. Couldn't you make it Mimi gen 2?!

I have read that the buttons will become easier to press after they "break in".

They were really, really nice about it. I love the customer service here. Seriously, the BEST we've dealt with. I also love how you don't have to pay return shipping.

My new 2nd Gen Mimi has the bubbling issue. :-( I'm so sad. I await exchange from EF for a new, hopefully not defective one.

Not good i thought this issue was solved. How long did you have to run it to have it "pucker"

Wow, this is a shame. Hopefully the replacement will be better. This is not promising, though.

Yeah, I'm pretty disappointed. I ran it for about 10 minutes, it puffed up. Didn't seem to affect performance, unless, of course, you wanted to use that side of the toy, but the other side was fine. I let it cool down, it went back to normal. The next day I ran it again. Again, in about 10 minutes, the whole top side was puffed up. :-( I am going to do the exchange, although they offered me a refund. But I REALLY want a Mimi, the bubbling issue is just really disappointing.

Sucks to hear it still has the bubbling issue, though I don't really see how they could avoid it.

I hope the next one is better.
