No lotion with Gigi?

I think I KNOW the answer to my question, but I want to know if I'm missing something.

I got my Gigi in today (yaaaaay!), and the little booklet says not to use massage oil or hand lotion as lubricants.

My theory is that many of these products contain dimethicone or other silicone oils . . . and, as it's been said over and over here, silicone oil and silicone toys don't mix.

Is there ANYTHING that I could be possibly be missing?

I'm 99.999% that plant oils aren't going to affect the toy, but I'm ready to be proven wrong. :-p

Some people do use oils or even silicone lubes with silicone toys successfully. With a toy as expensive as the Gigi, though, why take a chance when there are so many quality water-based lubes out there? Also, I think it is not always healthy to use oils or lotions inside your vagina. I recommend trying out Maximus, Climax H20, or Toyfluid. Good luck!

It could have something to do with the silicone, but more likely, it has to do with vaginal health. Oils (plant, synthetic or otherwise) are really bad for vaginas; they mess with the natura flora and self-cleaning cycle, and can cause all kinds of infections.

Good water based lubes are Aqua, Maximus and Sliquid H2O
