OMG WTF Just Happened With My MiMi?

Contributor: DeliciousSurprise DeliciousSurprise
So, I recently enjoyed a lovely testing session that involved my MiMi. After I got up, walked around, and did a few things, I settled back down into bed. The MiMi was placed on the nightstand, where I began working. A few moments later, I heard a vibrating sound, and assumed that it was my cell phone ringing. BUT NO.

IT WAS MY MIMI.

My MiMi, who was turned off after I washed her.

My MiMi who somehow TURNED HERSELF ON and wouldn't let me turn her off.

I got her to stop vibrating by plugging her into the charger.

WHAT JUST HAPPENED.

Perhaps the interior got wet and caused a short circuit. That has happened with my cell phone before.

To clarify (since D.S. will call me on it otherwise), I wasn't "testing" the cell phone, rather it stayed on vibrate after it got wet.

It's allegedly waterproof! And there really aren't any seams in which water could leak.

(I think it's possessed. I need some holy water.)

And: I'm sure that's what happened.
Ahem.

You definitely didn't try out your cell phone in any other ways.
Definitely not.

It is possessed. I actually heard that the real testing name for MiMi was Damien... but the hauntings and Satanic possessions made Je Joue weary of keeping the name.

MiMi wanted you to play more. Clearly, she and your vulva/clitoris have a contract going on and you are unaware of it. She knows when she is being beckoned. Just turns on. ...great feature, I swear.

-hem hem-
In all seriousness, maybe it was low on battery and was spazzing out? Inspect every inch of it for possible leakage areas?

I suspected as much.

Goodness.

I mean, I gave her like an hour of attention. I thought that would be enough!

I don't think it was low on battery, but... And I didn't notice any areas that looked compromised when I checked.

I had the same problem with my Fun Factory Spring. It happened a bunch of times and I ended up returning it for a replacement.

I turned it on, after it finished charging and it's working properly now.

I'm just concerned that Voodoo MiMi will strike again.

You should contact JeJoue about it and see what they say.

My laptop joined your MiMi in turn-on-all-by-yoursel f-in-the-middle-of-the -night possessed weirdness last night. I suspect the cats had something to do with that.

My wife's MiMi showed the same behavior.
It seems, this weird thing is somehow connected with submerging the MiMi in water. We assumed it wasn't absolutely waterproof and decided to avoid to use it in the tub. It never turned itself on since then. We still use the MiMi in the shower and clean it as usual, we just try not to fully submerge it in water.
The same thing was described by BBW Talks Toys in her review. So, it may be a common problem of the MiMi.

That hasn't happened to my MiMi yet. If mine does it I'll be back here to let everyone know. Hopefully it isn't a problem with water and it's just our kitties and puppies trying to play pranks on our MiMis and us.

It hasn't happened to me but I've heard it could be low battery. Can you contact Je Joue to see if this is a problem? Or maybe get a replacement. ??

Were you using her submerged in water?

And has it happened since? If it happens again, I'd return it and/or contact Je Joue about it.

Maybe you just didn't give it enough loving attention and it wanted more. It could have one of those artificial intelligence chips in it like I-Robot! Do you ever get the feeling your being watched?

Nope, just gave her a quick rinse. Hasn't happened since, but it was only yesterday that this occurred. Hopefully this won't happen again.

Hmm, interesting. It does sound like it could have been a short circuit caused by a little bit of water. I don't have a MiMi, so I haven't been able to inspect one in person.

My boyfriend would want to instantly open it up if I had one that was mysteriously vibrating. heh.

probably water on the button contacts, did you washed it after the use? Or used a lot of lube?
