Vitality, Spirit, Life, Touch, Bloom, Fresh. These are all names of green vibrators. They are supposed to be green because they recharge instead of using batteries. Have you used these vibrators? Are they over priced? Are the features that much better? I think they look pretty cool but don't know if they are worth the money. Also, what makes these vibrators better than other ones? They just seem so expensive

We don't have any that you mention - but our new favorite vibes are rechargeable like the Mona and Mimi.

I think tha they are worth the price. If nothing else you are voting with your dollar.
02/22/2012
I feel like it depends. For having such short battery life they seem pricey, but they do LOOK cool, and I love the different designs.
02/22/2012
They sure are pretty, but I don't know if anything's "green" about them apart from the color. Though it's a very awesome color. I will probably try one soon, and I won't know if they're overpriced til I do!

@ list they seem over priced

Nice idea, too expensive.

They do seem too expensive and a bit on the small side.

The vibes you list are all the Leaf brand of vibrators. Personally, I don't think the Leaf brand of toys are worth the money because the silicone is not as nice, in my opinion, as other lines, they have visible, tangible seams, and they are very powerful, but have no patterns. HOWEVER, rechargeable toys (which is the main point that makes them "green") are worth the money, in my opinion, because they save you money on batteries and they are much more convenient. Non-rechargeable is a huge drawback to a toy in my opinion at this point. I love my rechargeables! I'd happily pay as much money as the Leaf vibes cost for a rechargeable toy without the drawbacks the Leaf line has.

They look amazing don't get me wrong... But I'd rather spend my points on Ran, Mona, Uma or the Intensity.

I agree that they are overpriced...I'd rather get more powerful rechargeable toys like the mona or fun factory toys
02/23/2012
No batteries needed as well, and they last long as far as I know, they are also muchmuch safer, many of them aren't half as strong as other cheaper vibes but if you go for the true vroomers then who could ask for more!!! ^^
02/23/2012
For the Leaf vibes, they're more worth it if you catch a sale.
Other rechargeable toys are at a better price to start and very worth it !

I think they are nice, but there are other rechargeable toys for better prices
02/23/2012
Rechargeable toys are worth the higher cost because in the end you may spend over the price of the toy in new batteries.

Keep track of how much you spend on batteries for a few months. If you reach the cost of the vibrator within 6 months, then you can re-evaluate the 'expense' factor on them. If you pay $35.00 for a cheap vibrator that uses 2 AAA batteries and spend $10.00 every two weeks on purchasing batteries for that vibrator, after 6 months you have spent a total of $155.00. Same cost as the vibrator. Remember-you are going to continue buying batteries for that cheap vibrator which is definitely going to bring the cost of your $35.00 vibrator to well over the cost of the new 'green' ones. It is just the initial investment looks like much more money!!

I think they are overpriced, but its probably because I haven't bought one yet. In time I would like to replace my battery operated toys with more rechargeable ones.
02/23/2012
I don't own any of them but I think they're overpriced.
02/23/2012
IIRC, the Life has one speed. For $130? Definitely overpriced.

They are often quite pricey, BUT if something is rechargeable they you will be saving quite a bit on batteries.

The seem to be priced so high. But they are pretty, though...

I can understand 100$ or so but the ones that are $150+ just irritates me a little but I do plan on owning one of the Jopen toys as soon as I save up the 178$ or whatever it is after I get the other few things I'm wanting. They are nice though and I love the quality and not having to use batteries. I also like how they tend to be quieter and stronger.

Depends on several factors, quality, the battery type, charge time, use time, brand, number of functions and different uses. The rechargeable I have are all worth it in my opinion because they are of high quality material, good motors and batteries, long life, short charge times and a variety of patterns and various uses per toy. With the toys I have, what I paid for once with the toy, I would have paid every year for the same toy if it was battery operated. Totally worth it.
As far as the green aspect goes, for me it really depends more on how the toy is manufactured. If the toy is manufacturer in an energy efficient way for example, then I consider it a green toy, if it can be recycled, it's a green toy. If you want to keep your toys green, then you should also think about how you are going to dispose of them and a green company will have advice on how to do that. Just my two cents Honestly though, you can get cheaper rechargeable toys that do more than the vibes you mentioned. Happy hunting! May I suggest glass for a greener toy that uses no electricity at all and that you can recycle when you are done with it?
