Rating your Toys in Review

When you rate your toys in your review with stars, do you rate it to how much you liked it? Or do you rate it to how much you think others would like it?

I recently rated a toy 3 stars, it is awesome for beginners and such, but I, personally wasn't a huge fan...

What does everyone else think? Rate to your preference? Or what you think the general consensus is?

I rate how much I liked it, and then in my review I say specifically what I don't like about it. I also try to look from the perspective of a beginning toy user.

I rate them based on my personal preference, I factor in the quality of the product as well.

I try to take both points into consideration when I rate products. For example the Lelo Gigi is my current favorite vibrator and although I love it 5 stars worth I gave it a four star rating because although it is stellar as a clitoral stimulator it did not worth well for me as a g-spot stimulator.

Mostly for others, but my experience is also a factor.

I generally consider quality and value of the product, as well as my experience and how I think others would enjoy it.

I try to consider all aspects, my experience, the quality of the product, how others would like it better than I did. If a product is advertised to perform a certain way or have a certain function and does not deliver on it's promise, this affects the rating significantly. I do try to add into my reviews why I rated the product the way I did. This way people who read my review can get a better sense of the product's quality vs my experience and opinions.

Both. I base it around my personal enjoyment and how quality I thought the toy was.

I do it based on my own experience and not really how much I think somebody else might like it.
