Really tight (battery) holes...

Contributor: Spiking Glue Spiking Glue
I have a vibe with a REALLY tight hole.

-- battery hole.

It takes AAA batteries, and for a long time, the batter farthest away was stuck inside the vibrator's battery tube. I finally was able to slap and slam the battery out, but I'd rather not resort to vibrator abuse every time. Any tips?

i have a vibe with the same problem with AA's, but strangely it only sticks with rechargeables :\
if you had to resort to slapping, the shaking-it-like-a-stub born-ketchup-bottle method that works for me, is probably a little to subtle for your talented vibe but it's what i prefer to hitting it. other than that, i'm not sure. good luck!

Any chance you could get a thin ribbon in there between the vibe and batteries, the way they're installed in some items for easier battery removal?

Yeah, sometimes I use ribbons in my hair, and if a battery compartment is really obnoxious and I don't have to worry about the compartment closing completely, I'll place a ribbon underneath the batteries before inserting them. Mostly works for stuff with battery packs.

...I just realized how dirty it sounds to talk about "putting ribbons in your hair," like a little girl, then go in to, "MY VIBRATOR..." LOL!

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I was feeling a bit under the weather.

I tried to sneak in a ribbon. :/ I think it'd work really well, if the vibe took AA instead of AAA. Since it's AAA, it's too thin even for the thinnest ribbons I have available to me.

Maybe I'll try some twisted fishing line? I don't know. It's a pain in the ass. It's a good thing I like this vibe, or else I wouldn't consider it worth the effort. ><

Would a thin piece of paper work, maybe? You could just cut one up?

I dunno... maaybe. I'll certainly give it a try. At this point, I can still get the deeper batter out, I just have to slap the base against a table repeatedly. I think I've actually damaged my table a little, doing this. *laugh* Worth a shot, at any rate.
