It depends on the toy, but the only rotating toy I've ever had was the L'amour Thumper. It was so rigid and straight that it hit some less than desirable spots.

They're all different, though, so as long as you do your research, you'll probably find ones that are much better.

No "other" option - that's what I'd go with. I have two rabbits with rotating shafts. They're okay, but I can't really feel the rotation all that well, especially with the clit vibe on. I think if I found one with a more extreme curve I'd enjoy them more.
