I would try a bullet or a traditional style vibrator.

I, too, would go with either a bullet or a traditional vibrator. For a first timer, it might be best to go with a traditional vibrator so that you can experiment with using it internally as well as externally. In my experience, most bullets are too small to be safely inserted without a condom.
