Tango

Contributor: November November
Hi,

I just got a Tango and have used it only once. I noticed that the vibrations seem to slow down or be more rumbly when I press it against me. This doesn't happen with my other toys like the Lelo Nea. Does this happen to anyone else, or is my Tango defective?

I have the Salsa which is similar. Mine loses a little strength when I apply pressure but not a lot. How much strength is yours losing? My We Vibe Touch, on the other hand, almost shuts off when I apply pressure. Maybe it's hit or miss with the We Vibes.

It's not completely shutting off, just losing a little power. I went to their website and even looked up their FAQs, they don't mention anything about this. Do you think it's just a flaw in their product? If so, I'm surprised. For the price, I was expecting better.

I don't know I'd call it a flaw unless it drops significantly. Almost every external vibrator I have drops at least some when I apply a lot of pressure. It's more noticeable on something like the Tango than the Nea because the vibrations are stronger. So a drop from five vrooms to four feels more noticeable than from three to two or two to one, or at least it does to me. I have some that seem to drop so little that they stay in the same vroom level, but pretty much all of them drop at least a bit. I apply a heck of a lot of pressure, so maybe that's why all of mine will drop somewhat.

Well, I don't have to press hard at all, and I can actually hear a difference. When it's just laying on my palm it sounds buzzy. When I apply any pressure, it gets a deeper pitch and the noise volume goes down.

I notice the sound difference every time. Maybe I haven't noticed the pitch difference as much because I prefer the lower pitch so it's not a big issue. I have to press my Salsa at a moderate level to make it happen though. My Touch all I have to do is apply a very light amount and it drops in strength. You could always call/email We Vibe's customer service and ask them what they would advise.

Mine does the same thing, but it still ends up being strong enough for me.

It's covered under a warranty, so I might as well call customer service and see if this is a common complaint. If anyone else has a Tango and has this problem, please post. I'm curious how common this is.

My Tango is definitely strong enough for me. I think my main concern is quality. This is the strongest vibe I've ever bought, so I don't know what to expect. Maybe this is normal for a stronger vibe.

My salsa does the same thing, but I use it to my advantage. I bring myself to the brink of orgasm with it pressed against me, then pull back some so the vibes become more intense, which makes my orgasm explosive.

This sounds like a great strategy - my Eroscillator works the same way!

Thanks for the suggestion, XYCopperheadSly. I've been practicing with my Tango and I'm starting to like it better.
