Using charging cord on multiple toys

Contributor: laflauta laflauta
I've noticed that some rechargeable toys come with the same chargers as other toys, even for different brands. Is it okay to use one charger on multiple toys, or is it best to use only the the specific charging cord that came with a specific toy?

I wouldn't share chargers there are reasons each toy comes with their own charger that is just my personal preference though you are welcome to do it how you see fit. If the toy has a warranty I wouldn't use another charger but what came with the toy as it could probably void the warranty

I do. I've never had any issues. As long as they are the same...they are the same. Be sure to read all the little numbers on the tag and double check they are they exact same.

It's fine as long as it's a toy by the same company and from the same line (i.e. I wouldn't use a Fun Factory G4 charger on a non-G4 Fun Factory toy).

My Jopen Vr6 and Life chargers look identical (apart from the Leaf logo). I haven't mixed them yet.
