Someone's probably just being grumpy. Your post doesn't open up anything to really discuss, but I agree that flagging is a bit extreme.

It's rather spammy to post this here rather than actually start a real topic in the social area of Eden.

Just as a heads-up, if you're bored, join in a topic or actually make up one to talk about. I don't think that flagging is extreme, it did look like a point farmer-type post.

This is in the topic of vibrators. If you're bored, a topic in the social section with the title, "I'm bored, what's up?" wouldn't have gotten flagged.

So I'm guessing that's where the flag probably came from. Don't sweat it, Kristi or another admin will look at the thread and probably come to the same conclusion we all did, not spam.

I thought this was just a discussion on my page, I didn't know that it showed up as a topic in some thread for eden.

AH.

You have a status section on your wall. Unfortunately, there's not really a discussion place on your wall.

(totally not criticizing... just 'splaining)

How do you do that?
Start a topic in the social area? I haven't come across that.

But still you would think someone could see I am new to Eden fantasy's posting and stuff, not sure how everything works yet.

It's in the forum, which you can find across the top of the page or on the left hand of the primary eden page, among other places.

There are categories for numerous things. Just about every kind of subject has a section.

Participating in the forum is a great way for new users to learn about how the site works and what users aim for in reviews and such. Just reading what other people have posted in all the threads about sex toys can really open you up to new things, ideas, questions etc.

That and joining the mentor program can be really useful, if you would like to participate with writing reviews.

Sorry you got flagged. Without the explanation, it is sort of understandable. Eden's gotten a lot of new users who just want to use the system by posting pointless threads and comments and stuff. It's frustrating, but it's also not cool when new users are punished or otherwise deterred from participating on Eden because someone somewhere doesn't trust their motives without all the information. Like in your case. Don't let it scare you off. We're really a friendly lot Welcome to Eden.

Hi, Eve!

My name is Kristi and I'm the Community Expectations of Conduct Manager and I handle flags/abuse reports. Sadly, this seems to be a case of someone overreacting. I think people forget that not everyone knows how to do everything perfectly when they first join the site. Ideally, contributors would first find out if the person they are about to flag is new or not, and if they can help them out. Flagging something because you don't recognize the contributor name or you don't approve of what they post is not a good use of the abuse report system.

C'mon, guys, give people the benefit of the doubt, OK?

Don't worry about the flag, Eve, as it has been rendered null and void. Oh, and welcome to EdenFantasys!
