Depends if you like firm toys or softer toys. I prefer silicone because my partner and I can both share them. Just boil, dish wash or bleach to clean them. Plus I like toys with a little give.

Silicone can be sterilized. If it's silicone-coated plastic, that's the only difference. If it's a solid piece of silicone instead, that adds flexibility to the mix.

Depends on your preference. I like coated plastic right now. I prefer firmer materials.

Silicone is better for sharing and isn't as firm which can possibly reduce vibe transmission, the opposite is true for plastic which is firm and non sterilizable

In general I do think more silicone vibrators are high quality than their plastic counterparts. BUT having said that the wevibe tango is one of my favorite vibes and it is plastic. There are exceptions to most every rule! I hope you find a vibrator that is just what you need and want!
