I'm thinking of getting a new toy with my stockpile of EdenPoints but I'm having trouble deciding.
I am still somewhat a beginner when it comes to toys used for penetration. However, my boyfriend has a larger than average penis (in girth more than length) so I think I could comfortably use a thicker toy. I'd prefer an average girth with some veins or ridges in a smooth, hypoallergenic material. Because I am a poor college student, I'd like to get a dual purpose toy that can act as a dildo and a vibrator. My skin is also easily irritated, so I am looking for a hypoallergenic and, preferably, 100% silicone toy.
I appreciate anyone taking the time to vote but it would also be nice if you comment with your reason for choosing a specific toy. If you think you know of a toy better suited to my needs, please feel free to share. Thank you!
Which of these G-spot vibrators do you prefer?

Probably the Harmonia, but if you like a lot of power, none of these. Being a beginner, I'd say any of these will be great.

I only have the Harmonia and I'm not a big fan of it. I have the "most powerful" of the Couture Collection and it's not very powerful. So I wouldn't get any of those. I sadly don't have a lot of suggestions in the lower price ranges for G-spot vibrators. The only one I like is the Bgee (weak but effective in shape). It's pencil thin though, so it doesn't really fit what you're asking for. Maybe someone else can chime in with some recommendations for something under $50 with a good curve and decent power.

the harmonia looks good, but im sort of new to all this also

I have the Serenity and like its gentle curve. "Sharper" or more pointy curves, like with the Harmonia, are painful for me to accommodate. That may not be an issue for you, but is something to keep in mind.
The Serenity was my choice because I specifically wanted a g-spot vibe and it was on sale and made of safe materials. Since I was building my collection up from nothing - I had recently pitched the handful of cheap jelly toys I had - I wanted something of good quality but not in the luxury price range to start. The idea of varied power settings was also interesting. They're fun to play with, especially when it's my husband controlling it and surprising me. It might not be the most powerful vibrator out there, but if you're a beginner it will give you a place to start and not cost a whole lot.
Oh, and it being waterproof is another consideration I had. Not so much because I regularly use it in the tub or shower, but because I don't have to worry about giving it a good cleaning. You can't boil it due to the electronic components, but as long as it's properly sealed you can dunk it in hot soapy water and scrub away. Important consideration if you're sensitive or prone to infections.

Check out the vroom factor to make your choice. Do you like more intense vibrations?
06/28/2012
I'd go for the enchanted.

Harmonia seems to be most effective for such purposes...

I really didn't care for the Couture Collection. The vibrations were awful. However, Harmonia looks fantastic, and gets great reviews.

I'm not exactly sure how big or realistic you want to go here, but here are some suggestions. I hope they help. A tip though, I also have a partner who's larger than average--sometimes it can be intimidating, even after being with him for 6 years. It seems my cooter just doesn't want to get used to this kind of size. I mean he's not abnormally f'n huge, but a good deal larger than average. My point is, I expected to be able to do a toy around his same size and nope. The few I've bought that are about his size refuse to enter me! I guess it's different when you're using non-human. Lol. Also, I can't use anything that's around his size if it has a blunt tip. Just some things to keep in mind. However, I don't know many women who have this problem so maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm stupid abnormal. Lol.

This one gets fabulous reviews. It's large-ish and has veins. It's realistic and I think made of that soft skin like stuff.
Super Vac-U-Lock
This one has veins, is large, realistic and made of silicone. Oh yea, it has balls too. Ha Ha Ha. Sorry. Those kinds really get me laughin'.
PS. The Vac-U-Lock is on sale right now. Great price!
Platinum
This one is veined, silicone, pink, vibrates. It's on sale for $26 right now.
O2 Revolution
This gets fabulous reviews. It's not really phallic, but in a way, it is. It's large, angled for G-spotting, also has bulbous end, which works wonders for some of us when it comes to hittin' the G-spot. It's made of silicone. Has what looks like veins.
Vamp
Realistic. Veined. Silicone. Harness compatible. Vibrates.
Sorry for the exhaustive list. I hope this helps. Maybe you'll get a better idea of what you really want, or maybe you just might end up liking one that's been suggested. I don't own any that I listed, but have heard great things about most of them.
Happy cooter pleasin'

PS. I have Envie and really like it, but it isn't girthy and may not actually work for you G-SPOT. The only ones I knew of that were veined were realistic ones. I do have many G-spot vibrators that are in the average range of sizes though that I could recommend. Also, if you venture into the glass world, I recommend the Rotator. It's good for beginners and advanced users and works nicely for gspotting.
06/29/2012
The Harmonia has a great shape for g-spotting, and the head should work pretty well for clitoral stimulation as well. It's also silicone, and has quite good reviews. It doesn't seem to have terribly powerful vibrations, but if moderate vibrations work for you, than this would be a great bet. Remember not to use silicone lube with your silicone toys, though! It'll erode the surface. Stock up on some water based lube, especially since you're a bit new to penetrative toys.
Also, word of warning: Silicone, while fairly soft, is much hard than a flesh penis. So you'll want to get something less girthy than your partner.
