Do you? A bigger one at least? Happy with the ages you are? DO you think an age gap would lead to a more exciting relationship?

Judging by the answers on the "Is it ok for 32 yr old...18 yr old" thread, I'm going to say most people probably don't.

I like the age difference in my relationship and 99.9999% of the time it isn't a problem. When it is a problem, it's because someone else made it a problem. There hasn't been anything we can't work through.

I keep him in the now and he helps me understand the past. It works out pretty well for us.

I've got an 11 year age gap. I like it. But it depends on the people forming the relationship. I wouldn't pick a date based mainly on the age gap.

No, I don't think age has anything to do with things. I'm saying that because my wife and I are old enough and mature enough. I think maturity level is what matters the most in a relationship, at least to begin one!

I really like our age difference of 4 years. He is 26, I'm 22! We are both where we want to be and have the same goals for the next few years

Personally I'm glad we don't have an age gap. I like that we are at the same place in life.

I wouldn't mind if the wife was older, younger may be fun too. As long as we are compatible, I don;t really care.

We have a gap of less than 2 years. I don't think a "gap" would make a huge difference as it comes down to your feelings and love for each other. Sure there would be likely differences in tastes and preferences if the age gap were 10+ years but that's the case whether there is an age gap or not.

My So and I are 27 years apart...one of the largest gaps I've seen in these forums. Although we do not mind our age gap and actually think the gap is mutually beneficial for us, the reaction of others around us would be tempered if we were only 10-15 years apart. Luckily I look about 10 years younger and she looks and behaves at least 5 years older so we appear to "only" have about a 12 years difference, but that is still about half her "apparent age".

We are 2 months apart, I like being able to relate to the same things.
