Anyone else consider themselves "girly boys"?

As a Western civilization buff I found it interesting quite some time ago, when I learned about the concept of feminization in Roman history. When Rome began to spread too thin, all its men were at war, and for a period most all children were raised with their fathers away, leaving their mothers as their only influence. In essence, it led to a generation of males that didn't support the army that was the core of the Roman Empire. Such men were usually submissive in character.

I found this fascinating because I was an Army brat, and my dad was never around, so I've basically been raised by my mom. I'm 6' 1", 230 lbs, and I emotionally and sexually match this stereotype, yet I'm heterosexual. After some research I found these traits to all be linked by a single piece of slang -girly boy-.

But there was one thing that hadn't matched up: my build. I look like a line backer. I have to buy dress shirts at big&tall stores because nothing else fits my arm and shoulder span. I'm a huge bearded burly hairy dude, and yet sexually I'm sensitive and submissive. I prefer anal to penis stimulation, but I'm not gay. I don't have the body for it, but I'd probably try cross-dressing of I could get away with it. Hell, I wear Tripp NYC kilts and long skirts.

I've always felt REALLY out of place, but on the section of the internet where I'm both anonymous and WON'T be judged for it, do any other guys on here feel similarly or have a similar story to share?

Gender is fluid. There is no definition of any gender expression. There is nothing wrong with any of it.

I've been a man all my life, but I identify myself with more of a woman. I have a huge dick, and I sleep with women, but I always feel like one on the inside. Everyone I've been with knows this, it's hard to keep a secret during intimate activities. I grew up with both of my parents too, so it's not something normal. My brother turned out totally normal.

I am not an army brat, but my father traveled a lot when I was younger for his job. I am not mad at him for it, I know he did it for the family but because of this I just recently came out to my girlfriend that I am an extreme submissive (although every now and then I try to be dominant but it usually doesn't work out... lol) and I am also into feminization. That's mainly because I was raised by my mom and older sister.

I don't share a similar story to yours, but I certainly have a feminine side that I have come to accept and enjoy. I shave my legs, I have several women's perfumes that I regularly wear, I like wearing heels and skirts around the house on occasion, and generally enjoy activities that women traditionally do more so than men. I'm glad that I am not locked into a certain gender role.
